I dreamed a dream

Last night I had a dream, it was a good dream and one I hope is more of a vision of what's to come.  I was in Haiti to pick up my little boy. I walked down this little hallway and found he was behind a door. My heart was racing in anticipation of seeing him for the very first time. That split second of nerves, hoping he will accept me, know his mama, be happy to see me. The center worker opened the door, he was standing there looking out. As soon as our eyes met, he got a big smile on his face and ran into my arms. As I held him, I tickled his little sides and he just giggled. He just fit so perfectly in my hug. We just held on to each other for quite a long time. It was as if we were finally where we belonged. We, both, have been waiting for so long for that moment. It was so real to me. I guess it seems to be getting so close.

I've been told they have a little boy in mind for me and have started the paperwork on him. I had to update my paperwork because of his age, but have that in process. This isn't to say that they have officially referred a child to me, just that they have one in mind and are moving forward. Once they get my updated paperwork, and his gets completed, then I may receive that official referral. That's when I will see a picture of him and get all the information they have on him.

I have prayed these last 2+ years that we would both be prepared to know that we belong together, that we would be prepared to accept each other and just know it's right. My heart and life continues to be prepared and I pray that his is as well. He is so young and just has no idea of what a family is and what his life will soon become. He is already loved by so many people and I can't wait for him to feel that.

I do feel all your prayers and well wishes, I see the answers to those prayers regularly. I am still so amazed at all the support I continue to get from everyone. You are all such an amazing part of this quest. Thank you.

With that update, I continue to try and raise funds for the final portion of the adoption, court costs, and travel fees. So this weekend I will be doing a recycle run. If anyone has cans or any metal they would like to donate, please let me know, I can come get it, or you can just drop it off.

Also, I may take part in a yard sale on 7/12, so if you have anything you would like to donate for my quest, I can come get it or you can drop it off ( i will email you the address of where to drop it off at)

Please feel free to share my quest. There are so many angels out there, the more that read about my quest, the more support we get. Thank you all again.
