Woodruff, Utah - Car Show

Saturday I spent the day up in Woodruff, Utah at the 2nd annual Woodruff Car Show which one of my cousins put on. While the town of Woodruff is home to less than 200 people, there was quite a turn out. I'm sure we had more than that show up.

My cousin, Jared Huffaker, is an amazing man with a heart of gold. Kayleen's Kid Quest was at the top of his agenda for the entire day. Since Woodruff is a small town I wasn't expecting much of a turn out and was quite surprised at how many people came, especially since this is only the 2nd year he has put it on. They people there were so kind and excited to help me in my quest. We raised over $350 between the raffle and the auction they had. What an incredible experience. What a great time. He told me that each year he will find someone who needs help and all monies made from the raffles and auctions will be donated to their cause.

After Saturday I have decide that I will support his cause (whatever it may be) every year. I will donate items they can raffle off each year to thank him for what he did for me. So don't be surprised when I ask if anyone has anything to donate next year.

Thank you to my Aunt Emma and Uncle Chuck along with my other cousin Wynn who were so supportive as well. My cousin Wynn welded a coat/hat rack out of horseshoes that was pretty awesome. Thank you Wynn, for using your incredible talent to help me.

I cannot wait to take my little boy up there and have my cousins teach him to ride a sheep, then a horse. Who knows maybe he will become a little cowpoke. Oh the possibilities...... Getting soooooo close to moving to the next step.
